RICHMOND – The Richmond High School Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony is back. After a year’s delay because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Richmond Spartan Alumni Association will induct the newest members June 5. The dinner will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 7, in the high school commons area. Banquet tickets are $12, with ages 6 and younger admitted free. Pulled pork, green beans, a roll, drinks and a dessert will be served. Reservations can be made by going to the Richmond School District website at richmondspartans.org. In addition, Dr. John Scowley will posthumously receive the Miss Ethel Kirkpatrick Spartan Pride Award. Scowley died in December.
