I attended a meeting at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City regarding the future of state Highway A. Also attending this discussion were Hardin residents, as well as school, federal, state and county representatives. And then there was me – standing aside and perceiving it all on my own field trip — my first to the capitol since the fifth grade. The group discussed state Highway A conditions in Hardin and the next steps to take. If you’re interested in this topic, please find the article in this edition of the Richmond News. Being present at this gathering was successful. I was not only able to get pictures and recordings but I was also able to see the next piece of the puzzle for this ongoing story coverage. Writing an article for the newspaper is like running a marathon. You tread along until the next mile, each mile is a marker for how far you have come.
