Summer bucket lists can become lengthy and bold. We all want to spend our summers getting tan, going to the lake or Hawaii, swimming and having cocktails. Barbeques, fireworks, swimsuits, sandals and drive-in movies – all could be on the list.
Growing up, this girl did not appreciate summer breaks long enough and I wish I had. Now being a full-time adult and working all year round, 40 hours weekly – how can we create an attainable summer bucket list?
After a weekend at the lake, getting swimmer’s ear and sunbathing, I have developed the recipe for a fun and attainable summer bucket list. Here are tips to make your adult summer amazing: Plan ahead
Get a pen and pad, jot all your schedules and pre-planned notes down for the summer. You can color code your calendar for family events, jazz bar nights or even Sunday church time – whatever your heart desires, but make sure you keep tabs on dates you’re available for bucket list items.
