Seems I just said hello, but now I have to say goodbye

I said hello four years ago this month as editor of the Richmond News and Excelsior Springs Standard. Now, I say good-bye. Nothing personal. After 42 years as a journalist, I just need to do a few other things. Like drive my family crazy. Hee, hee, hee. They think they want to spend more time with me. How long will that feeling last? I give it a week. My wife and I plan a bit of incountry traveling, doing so slow and easy. Maybe, after that, we’ll expand our horizons. I also have to take care of work projects around the house, do some writing for fun and maybe profit, and spend time with several hobbies. After four decades of neglect, I have enough to do to last another lifetime.
