How to survive family Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving rolls around every year with a twang, cheesy potato casserole and, of course, turkey. Most people prepare themselves to gather with family they love - or don’t get along with - and interrogate them about their ambitions, love life or how their work is going – all over eating clove-covered ham and brown gravy.
With all the family drama (or lack thereof), we can all take into account what Thanksgiving is meant for. After your mother-in-law cracks her last passive-aggressive comment, take a deep breath and remember it’s not every day to be in the presence of your loved ones.
A time to be grateful, get overly filled, and share memories is a Thanksgiving attitude to have.
