With gasoline prices up, good, bad feelings arise
I hear a lot on TV about rising gas prices and have mixed feelings about that.
On the one hand, Missouri has some of the lowest gasoline taxes in the United States, so that saves me money.
On the other hand, the potholes on roads and streets are getting so bad that my granddaughter not only blew a tire, she dented her rim when she hit one. So, what she saved on gas she spent on repairs.
I’ve also heard that the oil companies are in cahoots on controlling gas prices and no one can stop them.
Why not?
And who gets to keep all the profit they are making with high gas prices?
Seems to me someone should look into that, too.
