Tammy Lynn Bales, 52, of Cameron died on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, at Cameron Regional Medical Center. Tammy was born on Sept. 11, 1970, in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Larry Bales and Linda Imogene (Trusty) Devall. Survivors include her father, Larry (Sandy) Bales of Richmond; daughter, Mackenzi Beeman of Kansas City; sister, Kim (Kevin) Rash of Lawson; and two brothers, Mark (Brenda) Riles of Excelsior Springs and Joe Riles of Olathe, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her mother. Tammy was reared and educated in Excelsior Springs, where she graduated from high school. She was always happy and caring, and had a great memory.

Tammy loved shopping, crafting, animals, the KC Chiefs, joking around and watching movies. She also enjoyed traveling when she was able. Tammy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Epilepsy Foundation. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.-P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.

Visitation with memorial services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Rayville Christian Union Church, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and services to follow at 11. Inurnment will be in Crowley Cemetery, Rayville. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
