Raymond Eugene “Ray” Cramer, 82, of Lexington died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at his home.

Ray was born on July 23, 1938, in Blackwater, the son of Riley and Mary (Pasley) Cramer.

Survivors include: his wife, Kerry, of the home; children, Derry (Mary) Wright of Liberty, Sherry (Scott) Mattson of Kansas City, Ray Cramer Jr., Mark Cramer and Mitch Cramer; and three grandchildren, Mariah Kinkade, Roman Trickey and Kaden Trickey. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ray was reared and educated in Boonville. He worked as a parts manager for more than 50 years, starting in high school. He was a Chevy parts man. After he retired, he helped at Wright Farms. Ray enjoyed bowling, fishing, riding his Harley, and wheeling and dealing on Gators and mowers. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Private family memorial services to be held. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
