Nancy Kay Pearon, 62 of Richmond, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the North Kansas City Hospital.

Nancy was born on May 9, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas to Thomas A. Hupp and Wanda L. (Witte) Hupp. Nancy had attended Orrick Schools and was a graduate of Orrick High School with the class of 1976. Nancy was united in marriage to Terry L. Pearon on June 29, 1990. She had worked for Whitaker Cable for several years and later worked as a supervisor for Price Candy Company in Richmond, MO. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Richmond, MO.

Nancy was a very talented and artistic person. She loved sewing and crafting and enjoyed making an assortment of pretty things. One of her passions was motorcycles, of which she loved to ride.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas A. Hupp in 1978, a brother, Bill Hupp in 1999 and her grandparents, Bill and Alvina Witte and Dent and Pearl Coffman, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lee and Gladys Pearon, a brother-in-law, Ron Pearon, and a granddaughter Emily.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Terry L. Pearon of the home, her mother, Wanda L. Hupp-Rone, sons, Travis R. Pearon, and Terry Pearon and a daughter, Andrea Pearon and a sister-in-law, Shirley Davis. Six grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.

Per Nancy’s wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at South Point Cemetery near Orrick. Following the graveside services, the family will greet friends for visiting and refreshments at the Faith Lutheran Church in Richmond, MO.
