Mack Cody Pearson Jr., 78, passed away Sept. 22, 2025, in Auburn, Calif., peacefully at home, surrounded by family. Born July 7, 1947, in Richmond, Mack lived a life marked by dedication, service and unwavering faith. He graduated from high school in Richmond and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College.

His professional journey was rooted in the fencing industry, where he built a respected career encompassing installation, sales and subcontracting. Mack ultimately retired as a project manager in commercial fencing, a role that reflected his strong work ethic and leadership.

In addition to his civilian career, Mack served with distinction in the Army National Guard following his discharge from U.S. Army active duty service. He retired in 1997 as a master sergeant (E8) from the HHC Aviation Brigade of the 34th Infantry Division after two decades of reserve service. His military tenure exemplified his loyalty and commitment to duty.

Mack was a man of deep faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. His spiritual convictions were central to his life and evident in the way he supported those around him – with positivity, sacrifice and steadfast encouragement.

He found joy in photography, trap shooting and clay sculpting – hobbies that showcased both his creative spirit and love for precision. Whether behind the lens or at the range, Mack approached each pursuit with enthusiasm and skill.

Mack is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Pamela; daughters, Gina Pearson, Melanie Pearson and Nicole McLemore (Sean); grandchildren, Josephine McLemore, Ira McLemore and Samantha Anspach; and sister, Mary Watkins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Pearson; mother, Eleanor White; sister, Marjorie Stuart; and brother, Michael Pearson.
