Joseph DeAngelo V

Joseph Anthony DeAngelo V, the anxiously waited for infant son of Joseph Anthony “Joey” and Chloe (Mansfield) DeAngelo IV, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. Joseph was born on Monday, March 13, 2023. Survivors include: his parents of Richmond; paternal grandparents, Joseph Anthony and Lindsey DeAngelo III of Richmond; maternal grandparents, Michael Wayne and Betty Mansfield of Richmond; paternal greatgrandparents, Joseph Anthony “Joe” and Karen DeAngelo II of Fristoe, and Rusty and Julie Nelson of Rayville; maternal great-grandparents, Richard and Dortha King of Dawn; paternal great-great-grandmother, Georgia Goodman; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Wayne and Alice Mansfield.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Joseph DeAngelo V Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.-P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.

Visitation and funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 4, at Rayville Christian Union Church, with visitation beginning at 3:30 p.m., followed by services at 4:30.

Burial was in Crowley Cemetery, Rayville. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond was in charge of the arrangements.
