Johnna Lee Bowman Johnson, 78, a resident of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025.

Johnna was born Nov. 2, 1947, in Richmond, the daughter of John and Julia (Craft) Bowman.

She was married to Kenneth Johnson. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Timothy (Brandy Luman) Brown of Richmond; one sister, Lynne (Gary) Bales; two granddaughters, Mackenzie Brown and Kathy Riddrick; two greatgrandchildren, Jasper and Elaina; and one nephew, Brandon Bales.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Duvall.

Johnna was a 1965 graduate of Lexington High School. Throughout her life, she was a devoted, loving mother who placed her family at the center of everything she did. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting and taking long drives, finding peace in both creativity and quiet time on the road. Johnna was known for her caring heart and genuine concern for others.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta, where her faith was an important part of her life.

A visitation and funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 8, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with the visitation beginning at 1 p.m., followed by the services at 2 in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed the services in Wakenda Cemetery, located north of Hardin.
