Inez Eleanor Morse was saved by God’s grace and showed the love of the Lord Jesus every day. On Nov. 8, 2020, she took the Lord’s hand to her heavenly home.

Born and raised in Excelsior Springs, Morse graduated in 1954. She worked as a nurse for several physicians in town. She retired with the love of her life down at the Lake of the Ozarks. She was an avid Chiefs fan. She was a Sunday school teacher at Rockfalls Baptist Church. She loved her church family as much as she did her own family. She saw all the good in a world of evil. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a sisterin-law.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; brother, Bobby (Wanda) Wilson; and sister-in-law, Julie Casteel; her children, Leigh Ann (Doug) Blevins, Terri (Troy) Uptergrove, Janice (Bill) Frost, Donna (Korey) Manley, Jennifer Carder, Jan (Mike) Harper, Joy (Ben) Hicks, Jimmy(Trish) Callaway, Jay (Shannon) Morse, Jeannie Callaway and Jill Morse; 14 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and two blessings to come.

Because of COVID, Inez will be in state from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, for friends to view. Graveside services will take place at the Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
