Elton Mansell

Elton Mansell, 73, of Pleasant Valley passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 16, 2025.

Elton was born July 20, 1951, to Elmo and Rosemary (Stanton) Mansell, and graduated from Orrick High School in 1969. He enlisted in the Army in 1971, served one year in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged in 1974. Elton joined the Orrick Fire Department in 1975 and served his community until 1986.

On June 2, 1973, Elton married Nancy Barrett, and they had three sons: Chad, Steven “Kyle”, and Nicholas, who blessed Elton with 6 grandchildren. Other family members include: sisters Marcia (Cull), Michelle (Ross) and Kristen Mansell, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Services start at 11:00 on July 1, 2025 at Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick.
