Michael McKee

Michael McKee passed away Sept. 24, 2026, in Adelaide, Australia, with his Australian family, Ian Frazer and Phillip Heading, lovingly holding his hand and taking care of him until his passing. He also is survived by his seven brothers and sisters: Kenney McKee (Alida), Joyce Hackett, Karen Stanton of Richmond, Jack McKee (Linda) of Stover, Shannon McKee of Richmond, Cindy Vanover (Claude) of Rayville and Judy Simpson of Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Dean McKee and Ester Louise (Brinkley) McKee; grandparents; and several other family members.

There will be a small gathering for his family and friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at the community building on Main Street in Henrietta, if you would like to stop by to offer your condolences to the family.
