The 2023 Annual Ray County 4-H Recognition Event took over the Eagleton Civic Center last week. The annual event was sponsored by Richmond Farm Bureau, Richmond Rotary Club, FCS Financial, and Ray County 4-H Council. President of Ray County 4-H Council Alaina Lehman welcomed everyone to the event, pledging to the American and 4-H flags led by 2022-2023 4-H Ambassadors, Owen Allen and Trinity Thomas. Outstanding 4-H Secretary, Outstanding 4-H Treasurer, and Outstanding 4-H Scrapbook were again recognized this year. The winners included Cheri Basham from Millville 4-H Club for the secretary book, receiving a plaque and notebook; Thomas, from Guys & Gals 4-H Club for the treasurer book, receiving a plaque and notebook; the Olde Tyme 4-H Club for scrapbook, receiving scrapbook supplies.
