A new business has opened in Richmond. Wood Shed Lumber & Hardware Supply, located at 900 Walton Way, occupies the building once filled by the Derstler Lumber Co. The new company celebrated its opening with a weeklong grand opening celebration June 20-26. On June 23, the Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce commemorated Wood Shed’s opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. With hotdogs, burgers, chips, sweets and drinks provided, visitors walked around the store and glanced at the items Wood Shed provides, such as plumbing supplies, hand and power tools, automotive supplies, paint and sundries, gas and pellet grills, and lumber and other building materials. And during the grand opening, business owners and parents Cecil Eiserer and Sharona Eiserer made their way around the property with their children, Porter, 15; Cecily, 11; Novah, 5; and Marlo, 8 months, as the community showed its support.
