Two facilities for medical pot pass inspection

JEFFERSON CITY – Two state-licensed medical marijuana facilities have successfully completed commencement inspections. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, or DHSS, the agency tasked with regulating the state’s new program, conducted the inspections for the facilities. The state licensed no such facilities in Ray County and due to questions about the process, investigators are looking into why people connected to the Gov. Mike Parson’s administration appeared to have received preferential treatmen. Both of the inspected facilities, which have received authority from DHSS to operate, are facilities licensed to cultivate marijuana. The facilities will be among a total of 60 facilities in Missouri able to grow medical marijuana for infusedproduct manufacturing facilities and directly for retail dispensaries.
