SOH concert returns with three bands, local performers
After not taking place since 2019 because of the pandemic, the Sounds of the Heart Concert returns with a trio of high-energy groups at 7 p.m. Oct. 8 at Lexington Middle School.
The concert will feature the bands 88 Keys, Queens of Country and Goddesses of Rock, along with local performers Donalyn Goodloe, Kinsley Worthington
and Emerson Worthington.
There is no admission fee, although free-will donations will be accepted.
“All proceeds will go toward purchasing automated external defibrillators for the Lexington Police Department and training equipment, so we can keep the training updated for those who would be chosen to use the AED in case of need,” said Sounds of the Heart founder Betty Weddle.
Weddle thanked the community for its financial support of the organization over the years, including the past three years.
