Ray Rocks Offroad Resort (RROR) Owners Devin Wilmoth and Marianne D’Amato are expressing frustrations with the Ray County Commissioners. Not only did the commissioners retract prior approval of a motion that affected RROR business without notifying RROR of the change, but the business was also removed from the Jan. 30 agenda — a meeting meant to unveil the reasons behind the commissioners’ decision to amend — without proper notification of the cancellation. Wilmoth and D’Amato said they wanted to understand the reasoning behind the decision to amend Dec. 14, 2023 minutes during the Dec. 26, 2023 meeting, allowing for the motion affecting their business to change without their knowledge. Although the RROR owners promptly arrived for the meeting scheduled at 11 a.m. Jan. 30, Ray County Commissioner Billy Gaines informed them the meeting had been rescheduled.
