ROR bond accepted for assault charges
A Henrietta man facing multiple felony assault charges recently appeared in court for a bond reduction hearing.
Harvey A. Comstock, 47, appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins on Oct. 31. Comstock is currently facing three felony charges including: two counts of third-degree assault, special victim and resisting or interfering with arrest for a felony, as well as one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree assault.
“I have shared a home plan with the State and it has been confirmed that he can live with his girlfriend in Richmond. She can provide transportation and it is only a five-minute walk, if necessary,” Comstock’s Public Defender Robert L. Walden-Chastain stated. “At this time, we are requesting an ROR (release on recognizance) bond.”
