RMS gives Spartan highlight
To help middle schoolers enhance their learning, Richmond Middle School (RMS) teachers came to discuss highlights. They now have specific class time for deeper understanding at the latest R-XVI Richmond School District board meeting.
RMS Principal Staci Maddux introduced middle school teachers.
“I’m going to have my teachers and students come up with me. They can present what they’ve been up to at RMS,” said Maddux. “We’re going to talk mainly about some of the things that we’re doing within our Response to Intervention (RTI). We’re trying to work hard and build up our RTI program that will, in turn, allow for the academic success of our state testing scores that we’re trying to improve.”
Maddux introduced RMS Assistant Principal Mallory Cole, eighthgrade math teacher Brenda Hamm, seventh-grade ELA Candice Schroeder, FACS and Theater Shari Donaldson and sixthgrade ELA teacher Luke Sidebottom filled in for sixth-grade social studies teacher Bret Higgins.
