Police Chief Chad Burnine of the Richmond Police Department reported the following incidents handled recently by the department. TUESDAY, MARCH 31 At 12:35 a.m., in the area of Spartan Drive and Main Street, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested a 26 year old man from Richmond for driving while intoxicated. A case will be sent to the city prosecutor’s office for further action. At 9:58 a.m., in the 400 block of South Second Street, a complainant reported damage to their mailbox. Investigation continues. At 7:21 p.m., in the 400 block of Chestnut Street, an officer arrested Cole Racy, 24, of Richmond on two Richmond Municipal Court warrants charging him with failure to appear court for domestic assault and failure to appear court for careless and imprudent driving. Racy was unable to post bond and was transported to the Ray County jail.
