A Richmond man has been arrested after bringing a gun inside a local restaurant. Reny Reis, 31, was arrested by Richmond Police Department and charged with three felonies and one misdemeanor after bringing a gun into Richmond Branded Steakhouse on Jan. 25. Reis faces three felony charges of resisting arrest - creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action, as well as a misdemeanor fourth-degree assault charge. Reis was held at the Ray County Jail until he posted a $50,000 bond on Feb. 1. Special conditions of Reis’ release included not being allowed at Branded Steakhouse property, including the adjoining parking area and maintaining an alcohol detection device at all times. Richmond Police Chief Scott Bagley said there was a physical struggle during the arrest of Reis. “I think there are some family issues with the restaurant owners that led up to this,” he said.
