During the first couple weeks of school at Richmond High school (RHS), newly joined Future Farmers of America (FFA) members were given a chance to attend the Area Leadership Conference in Marshall. This event is geared toward first and second year members who want to learn a little more about what FFA really is, and gain more leadership experience. During an interview with two students about their experiences attending the Area leadership Conference, one FFA member, Jewelianne Weber, stated that she liked traveling and learning more about FFA and FFA camp, and she was there for the experience. Another FFA member, Ava Bozarth, said that she liked learning about all the different aspects of FFA and the activities that we as members have the chance to participate in. Overall everyone had a great time attending this event in Marshall.
