RICHMOND – While taking Richmond High School graduation photographs, David Dice of Dice Photography said that, in his 35 years as a professional, he has covered memorable graduations. “We’ve had students playing musical instruments and crashing guitars on the floor at the end of the performance,” he said. “We’ve had students doing cartwheels across the stage.” For all he has witnessed, Dice said COVID-19 has made 2020 a year like no other for his business. “Most graduations are cancelled thus far, and rescheduled at this point,” he said. “We don’t know whether they’re going to take place or not on the rescheduled dates. Some of them have been rescheduled twice and now they’re into July dating.” July dates may decrease participation. “We don’t know how many students will be able to attend,” he said. “Some have military obligations and other responsibilities.” Just as other service industry businesses have been hard hit by the effort to prevent the spread of the virus, Dice said his…
