Public comments highlight facility, road concerns
Ray County commissioners were presented with concerns during a recent meeting about an upcoming bathroom renovation at the Public Administrator’s Office, including its potential impact on operations.
The issue was raised by Ray County Public Administrator Shannon Morris,
who questioned whether the project would affect daily operations in her office and if staff could safely remain in the building during construction.
“We have questions about our bathroom because the day you came down, I had questions, and you said, ask him, but you didn’t tell me who him was,” said Morris. “First off, it’s going to take a minimum of a week to 10 days to do and during that time, my office will not have a bathroom. There’s also going to be both of those walls that have to be cut out completely to be moved two feet in either direction.”
