The Ray County Museum was busy with Richmond residents and music last week during the Ray County Museum and Richmond News’ After-Hours event. The 1920s themed, comeand- go event was deemed a success, according to Richmond News General Manager Sharon Donat and Museum Director Cathy Gottsch. “We enjoyed the 1920s event and not even the air conditioning problems could keep us from having a great time,” said Donat. “When businesses work together it makes for a stronger community.” Among the Richmond residents, there were some from the neighboring town of Lexington. Carolyn “Day” Sutton said she had a great time. “I had so much fun watching the live music and meeting everyone. The staff there have a lot of love for each other.
