Munger enters not guilty plea, 8 felony charges
A Ray County woman has entered a plea of not guilty on eight felony charges.
Rachelle Munger, 44, of Excelsior Springs, is facing eight felony charges, including: two counts of enticement or attempted enticement of a child, actor 21 years of age or older and child less than 15 years of age; third-degree child molestation, child less than 14 years of age, and three counts of fourth-degree assault. Munger was seen before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins on Nov. 7 for an initial appearance hearing. With her public defender, Robert Walden-Chastain, by her side, Munger waived her right to a formal reading of the charges and entered a plea of not guilty. Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Tara Medlin had no objections and Judge Baskins accepted the plea.
