Faith, fellowship and a shared commitment to the community brought Richmond residents together to seek guidance, strength and unity through prayer.

The Ministerial Alliance of Richmond recently hosted the 2026 Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, bringing together members of different congregations for a keynote address by Farrell Hockemeier and prayers focused on several aspects of the community.

The Ministerial Alliance’s involvement in the community extends beyond the annual breakfast, with members also leading prayers at Richmond City Council and Ray County Commission meetings. The alliance seeks to unite local churches and provide spiritual guidance for the community.

Mayor Mike Wright welcomed attendees, expressing appreciation for the different denominations represented and recognizing those who helped organize the breakfast.
