KC man pleads not guilty for Richmond assault

A Kansas City man facing charges of assault is now under house arrest after being released from Ray County Jail. Charged with three felonies — first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon — 23-year-old Achilles A. Margo’s bond was posted by a bonding company on Nov. 28. Margo appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins on Nov. 6 for an appearance hearing where he entered a plea of not guilty. On Nov. 21, Judge Baskins amended set his bond at $10,000, with special conditions of his release to include: no contact or communication with victims or witnesses, house arrest, no entry into Ray County except for court, required testing for drug or alcohol use, not to possess or have control of any firearms and required to seek or maintain employment.
