FFA greenhouse sale continues

If you’re ready to greet spring by adorning your landscaping, home and garden with beautiful plants, visit the Richmond High School (RHS) student’s spring greenhouse plant sale, which started recently. The sale is part of the Greenhouse Operations and Management class and the proceeds can support FFA activities if need be. The class is directed by Richmond Agricultural and Future Farmers of America (FFA) teacher Charles Foreman, an eight-year RHS faculty member. The students grow poinsettias in the fall and bedding plant life such as flowers, vegetables or house plants in the spring. “All students in the agriculture program are encouraged to be an FFA member,” said Foreman. “FFA is an extracurricular part of agricultural education.
