With less than six weeks until opening day, the City of Richmond is ramping up outreach and vendor coordination for the 2025 season of the Richmond Farmers Market. A vendor meet-andgreet held on April 1 kicked off these efforts, allowing the city to provide information, gather feedback and encourage sign-ups for the coming season, which begins on May 10. The meet-and-greet drew several current and prospective vendors, leading to firm commitments from four vendors who plan to participate this season, according to Community Development Director Lisa Hastings. “A new vendor has joined us and will be offering fresh produce,” said Hastings.
