Three area candidates have set their sights on a Ray County 911 Western District Board seat, which will be determined in the April 2 election. “There are no qualifications for anyone running for a board,” said Ray County Clerk Heather Graff-Maulsby. The candidates — Incumbent Matt Nolker, 48, Incumbent Lee O’Dell, 46 and Pete Oulman, 59. To give voters insight, candidates were asked to complete a questionnaire from Richmond News. BACKGROUND INFORMATION Richmond News asked each candidate to list their age, address, marital status, number of children, highest grade completed, employer and relevant political experience. Nolker – The Lawson native has a bachelor’s in science and is currently employed as the Lawson City Administrator. O’Dell – An Orrick native, he is currently employed by Shoemaker Tow, LLC, as well as Lawson Fire and Rescue.
