RICHMOND – The 8th Judicial Circuit announced restrictions on who may enter courtrooms in Ray and Clay counties. The following people will not be allowed to enter the facilities: • People who have traveled to any foreign county within the last 14 days; • People who reside or have had close contact with someone who has traveled to any foreign country within the last 14 days; • People who have been asked to self-quarantine by any doctor, hospital or health agency; • People who have tested positive, been diagnosed with, or have had contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19; • People with fevers, or unexplained coughs, shortness of breath, or loss of smell or taste; and • People prohibited entry to the courthouse as determined by county commissioners. Screening, as conditions warrant, will occur. They may include temperature checks and health questions.
