Couple creates creepy display for the holiday

Tim and Betty Glynn have created one of the area’s great boneyards in their front yard at 707 E. Lexington St., which intersects with South Institute Street. The Halloween display includes a two-story-tall skeleton, related possibly to Goliath or basketball star LeBron James. Digging up the big-boned guy takes more than a shovel at midnight. Tim says they got lucky to find the titan at the right place and time for the right price. “Friends of ours knew what we were doing,” Tim says, and when they saw the giant skeleton in a store, they called the Glynns, who added the giant – his name is “Tiny” – to the collection. “We had more than one person tag us with that; and as soon as we saw it, we were like, ‘Oh, yeah!’” “He was just so unique when we saw him that we had to have him,” Betty says. Tiny does not grant interviews and does not make wry comments to tickle anyone’s funny bone. At his feet stand two bone guard dogs, without hides or internal organs, but with plenty of attitude…
