Richmond has updated downtown streets with street patchwork, crack sealing, striping and microsurfacing by Pavement Management LLC. Richmond City Council unanimously approved Bill No. 23-30 Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget to increase the appropriation by $26,451. This would allow the remaining balance owed to Pavement Management LLC for the street repair work to be paid, which was unable to be completed by the end of Fiscal Year 202223. The work was completed in early October. The previous amount appropriated was $341,242.90, but in September, the council approved $15,000 worth of additional work to the striping project, said Richmond City Administrator Tonya Willim.
