Ray County Commissioners Gary Wilhite and Dave Powell approved recommended changes to Ray Rocks Offroad Resort’s one-year conditional use permit over disagreements on the language from business owners Marianne D’Amatto and Devin Milmoth. The recommendation and additions were read by Ray County Planning and Zoning Administrator Stacy Wolfe at the last county planning and zoning meeting. “‘No racing’ was modified to ‘no racing of any time, time or head-to-head allowed for property with any type of motorized vehicles.’ Must hold all trails, 30 feet from all surrounding property lines, property boundaries must be identified, and clearly marked with signage,” said Wolfe. “It’s still in there about the Department of Transportation adding a turn lane and must cooperate with law enforcement if an issue arises with park patrons.
