The City of Richmond, in partnership with Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) Solid Waste Management District, to host an “Electronic Recycling Event” at Richmond City Hall. This event was discussed at an earlier meeting and all residents of Richmond and Ray counties residents can dispose of permitted unwanted electronic devices. The event will be at Richmond City Hall on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon. “This is our first time doing something like this,” said Mayor Mike Wright. Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) has multiple “negative value” items you may bring, acceptable items and unacceptable items, according to cityofrichmond. com.
