City leaders outline priorities for year ahead
Richmond officials have outlined a roadmap for the year ahead to help guide future budgeting, planning and investment decisions across city government.
Council members adopted a resolution during a recent meeting, formally establishing the city’s fiscal year 2027 goals and objectives. The framework was developed through council retreat discussions, departmental planning sessions and ongoing evaluations of city operations and infrastructure.
The goals are intended to guide departmental budgets, five-year plans, capital improvement planning and operational priorities throughout the FY2027 budget process.
