No, I’m not seriously considering returning to K …, um, a certain university many Missourians love to hate to finish my Ph.D. in film studies. Sure, in August 2023, I made a few notes for a dissertation topic I’d like to explore, but that was while I was stuck in a room at Research Hospital, feeling bored while staying there overnight because I’d had a bad reaction to the anesthetic the doctors had used on me for my hip replacement surgery. That option remains in limbo.

Nor am I seriously considering taking more computer tech classes through Udemy.com or anywhere else that offers inexpensive or free nondegree online classes. I took one. That was enough.
