RICHMOND – The new Branded Steakhouse, Oink & Moo BBQ & Taproom can hold scores of people, but there will be room for more. The adjacent banquet hall, under construction, will seat about 300 people and could open around April 1. Attached to the banquet room will be a brewery, expected to open by midsummer, owner Randy Huffman said during a brief work break last week. The restaurant already draws from beyond the community, he said. “On Friday and Saturday night, I would probably say it’s 25% Richmond and 75% out-of-towners. That’s the real craziness of it,” Huffman said. “We really are drawing from a large area – Liberty being one of the main ones. It surprised me, because a lot of people here drive to Liberty to eat, but we’ve got all the Liberty folks coming down here. It’s really, really neat.” With space for large scale events, and cozy booths for lunch and dinner inside, more is planned outside.
