RICHMOND – The Ray County Bicentennial website is available to the public. The site contains information about Ray County and Missouri’s bicentennial, which coincide. Both date to 1821. Neighboring Clay County’s bicentennial will occur Jan. 2, 2022. The site contains information about the Ray County quilt blocks, which have been sent off for inclusion in the state quilt program; the photo contest, with Ray County photos going to the state; the Missouri Encyclopedia; the cookbook; and other topics.
