Richmond's most recent dual in boys wrestling before an unplanned week off from competition because of an illness outbreak in the school district was a close one.
The Spartans held off St. Pius X of Kansas City 42-36 in a Jan. 13 home dual, originally scheduled as a triangular to include Excelsior Springs, which had to bow out in the 11th hour because of an illness outbreak. Here are some images from the dual, captured by sports editor Shawn Roney.
