I’ve recently jumped into the world of podcasts during my daily commute and it’s been such an interesting experience.
With so many podcasts out there – everything from true crime to celebrity cooking – it’s easy to miss a local gem that highlights the unique stories and voices from our communities, “Ray County Voices” (RCV), hosted by the Richmond News. It is all about celebrating the stories from our hometown and I think it is something very special. It is a way to celebrate local culture and connect with each other, especially at a time when so many of our interactions can feel distant and impersonal. Listening to these local stories can remind us of the ties that bind us together and the fullness of the lives we share.
