These are exciting and unusual times for public education. Emerging from a pandemic, school districts all across the nation are assessing, re-evaluating and designing student programs and procedures that will reshape not only our teaching and learning styles, but also our overarching views of preparing students for adulthood. Student technology has been critical for online classrooms and distance/ remote learning, and its growth continues to be rapid and advanced. In area school districts, we have seen a tremendous increase in the use of online resources and virtual classroom resources that have changed the course of classroom instruction. These learning platforms have radically changed student and teacher interactions at almost every level. One positive thing learned from the pandemic is that student/teaching technology is a great investment for schools.
