IN PICTURES: GIFTS TO THOSE WHO GIVE
On Aug. 9, the Rotary Club of Richmond reached out again to organizations and individuals who are reaching out to help others.
That evening at Branded Stakehouse, Oink & Moo BBQ & Taproom in Richmond, the club presented the financial gifts from its annual reverse raffle. The reverse raffle is an annual fundraiser in which funds are provided to individuals and non-profit organizations that apply requesting money for specific community projects. This was the club’s 17th annual reverse raffle, according to Ryan Lock, past president and event host.
As the buffet dinner concluded, Lock announced the recipients, who accepted their gifts in envelopes and said a few words about their projects and/or the organizations they were representing. Gift recipients were the following, as listed by
