In hopes of giving Ray County recognition, Orrick farmer Tom Waters and Precision Mazes Owner Rob Stouffer collaborated to make an a-maze-ing message for Taylor Swift. Swift played two nights at the Kansas City, Mo. GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium this past week. Rob carved out a welcome message to the pop queen herself, Swift, as she made her way for her Eras Tour. Waters explained he is a seventh- generation farmer in the “Orrick bottoms” and Rob conducted some GPS and Yield monitor work for Waters in the early 90s. Rob said he had been wanting to connect with Waters several times, as the two had been friends for a while now. “I just thought it was a neat idea and was happy to help with the project,” said Waters about the collaboration with Rob. A Lee Summit native, Rob developed his business with his wife, Rachel, in June 2001. Their first corn maze was in Corder, Mo. and ever since then, their business has increased.
