Area parishioners will see a shift in weekend and weekday worship times, as Immaculate Conception in Richmond and Saint Mary the Virgin Church in Carrollton prepare to launch a revised liturgy schedule at the start of the new Catholic year. The liturgy schedule at Immaculate Conception in Richmond and Saint Mary the Virgin Church in Carrollton is changing on Nov. 29. The changes affect the evening schedule on Saturdays at Richmond and Carrollton and the evening schedule on Tuesdays at Richmond. On Saturday evenings, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, or Confession, will start at 3:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception followed by Holy Mass at 4 p.m. Confessions will then be available at Saint Mary’s at 6 p.m. followed by Mass at 6:30 p.m. On Tuesdays at Immaculate Conception in Richmond, the 5 p.m. Mass will continue as before and will be followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
