Hardin-Central leader earns Best Coach nomination

A Hardin-Central coach and educator has been nominated for recognition as one of the area’s top coaches, highlighting a career centered on student growth, faith and long-term commitment to young athletes. Andrew Watson serves as athletic director and strength and conditioning teacher at Hardin- Central and is among the top three nominees for Best Coach in the Town and Country Leader’s Annual Local Legends Contest. The contest is hosted each year by the newspaper to recognize individuals and businesses making an impact in the community. During the first round, community members submit write-in nominations across multiple categories. The top three individuals or businesses in each category advance to a second round of voting, where community members select from the finalists. The nominee receiving the most votes in each category is recognized with a certificate acknowledging their community support and involvement.
